Honey, soy and chilli tofu

Inspired by our travels through South East Asia.

Ingredients

Sesame oil

Extra firm tofu

Garlic

Chilli

Honey

Coriander

Spring onion

Five spice

Salt

Pepper

Method

In a large none stick wok heat two table spoons of sesame oil

Once the oil is sizzling hot add chopped garlic, chopped spring onion and chopped chilli. Leave to simmer for a couple of minutes

Add the extra firm tofu (chopped into cubes)

Add a generous amount of gluten free soy sauce, a pinch of five spice, salt pepper and two table spoons of honey

Stir the pan so there is a sticky covering over the contents of the pan.

Continue to simmer for another 5 minutes, regularly stirring the pan so the tofu doesn’t stick or burn

Once the ingredients have heated through and the tofu has browned, remove from the pan ready to eat

Serve with brown rice and a sprinkle of coriander on the top
